Amit Khadikar makes it to the Finals of the coveted ISSA Awards, 2024
Amit Khadikar is a Finalist in 2 categories for this year's ISSA Awards to be held at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center, Atlanta on 24th August in what promises to be a glittering ceremony.
The nominations are in the category of International Male Rising Star & Male Single of the year for the much acclaimed release "Why". The judges are set to commence the most difficult task of finalizing the winners from a pool of immense talent the world of which Amit Khadikar a.k.a. AKoustic Soul is happy to be a small part of.
Why hits No. 1 spot on This is Only Rock Radio, Spain and #41 in the Top 100 of Radio Indie Alliance
"Why" continues to achieve dreamy heights scoring its first No. 1 listing on an Independent chart by topping the TIORR 2 channel of This is Only Rock Radio, Spain for the week of April 29th, 2024.
As a result, the song also entered the Top 100 of the Radio Indie Alliance for the first time, with the song coming in at #41 of the Top 100 Independent songs for the week.
New Single "Why" wins the Akademia Music Award - Feb 2024
The recognition for the new single "Why" keeps coming with a big win at the Feb 2024 session of the Akademia Music Awards, LA in the Pop-Rock category.
The song has been especially lauded for the vocals and evocative lyrics along with the melody.
AKoustic Soul receives 7 nominations at the FPCM Red Carpet Awards 2024
AKoustic Soul has received a whopping 7 nominations at this year's FPCM Red Carpet Music Awards in Europe. The virtual ceremony is scheduled for October 2024 and the winners are determined througg an elaborate judging process by the esteemed jury.

The new single deals with the very fundamental questions we have and ask, sometimes consciously and often subconsciously. I found myself asking this question a lot over the last year or so during my recovery period, only to realize that there are some questions that will never be answered and they need not be answered as well. That's us making peace with self and the universe.

AKoustic Soul receives the Songwriter of the Year 2023 Award at FPCM Red Carpet Awards in Holland
AKoustic Soul was in the running for the FPCM Red Carpet Awards 2023 with 5 nominations in various categories.
The Award function was held in Holland on August 19th in a glittering ceremony, which saw AKoustic Soul picking up the coveted Songwriter of the Year Title.
Amit Khadikar wins the Silver in the International Male Emerging Artist category at the ISSA Awards, 2024
This amazing crystal award finally made it to home. On 6th August, 2023 in a grand ceremony held at the Sandy Springs Performance Centre in Atlanta, Amit Khadikar was declared the winner of the Silver Award in the International Male Emerging Artist category.
This marked a fruition of the journey that began in April with 5 nominations, and after a month of Fan voting, Amit was declared as a Finalist in 3 categories in May.
While the Achilles surgery is going to keep Amit out for at least 6 more months, this has been the best moment in music in the the last 3 years.
AKoustic Soul bags the Indie Fam Chart Award, declared on 9th July
After France, Canada, UK, Northern Ireland, Argentina & Australia, the Indie Fam Charts award is all set to make its way to India from Germany soon.
Amit is still out of action after his Achilles Tendon surgery but good news for the music keeps trickling from around the world. We are overwhelmed by the support from all corners.

AKoustic Soul is spinning around the world literally on mainstream and Indie Radio Stations in India and 15 other countries. The latest addition to the stations which have played AKoustic Soul music is KB Radio, Canada, with the addition of "Pretend" to their rotation.

This is the biggest update of 2022 and the stuff dreams are made of. Being nominated was an honor in itself, but now Amit Khadikar along with AKoustic Soul have been declared as finalists in 3 categories for the ISSA Awards 2022. Atlanta is 1 step closer thanks to all of you.
After a devestating year on the personal and professional front, can the improbable become a reality? All we can do is Hope and wait with bated breath for the final results.

In a huge update, AKoustic Soul was listed as #1 in the Top 50 Overall Artists chart on 752.2 Radio, Colorado on April 21, 2022.

Previously, AKoustic Soul had gotten chart success with the single "Pretend" hitting the #1 spot in a few sub-genre/regional charts, but this is by far the biggest honor AKoustic Soul has received on the station. Thank you to all the fans and listeners for this.

The ISSA Awards 2022 are back with their in-person gala ceremony to be held in Atlanta on 6th August. The Awards recognizes Independent Artists, Promoters, Radio Stations and Representatives from all over the world.

Amit Khadikar a.k.a AKoustic Soul has the privilege of being nominated for this year's awards in 5 categories.

The final results will be a mix of Public Voting and Jury evaluation. The Voting Process is on from April 2nd to April 30th.

The newest addition to the list of Radio Stations playing AKoustic Soul music comes from Scotland. Chief Radio, Scotland is all about musicians supporting musicians and AKoustic Soul has the privilege of being one of the Showcase Artists of the Week. The single "Pretend" will be aired on The Underdogs Show on Tuesday, 1 p.m. GMT (6.30 p.m. IST) alongside some stellar Indie artists.

AKoustic Soul is the Top Ranked Male Artist for 2021 on Radio TFSC, Germany. After an epic 40 hour countdown with more than 600 artists featured in came down to the Top 10, 9 out of which were female Artists and AKoustic Soul was the only male artist ranked at #7.
